Book The Poverty of Philosophy
This work was written by K. Marx in French as a response to the book of the French politician and sociologist P.-J. Proudhon’s “System of Economic Contradictions, or the Philosophy of Poverty.” In his “Poverty of Philosophy,” the author, in the form of a critique of Proudhon, first presented to the general public the initial principles of his economic teaching, proposing what twenty years later turned into a coherent theory developed in “Capital” .This edition includes two letters from K. Marx, also containing criticism of Proudhon’s views.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
