Book Dead Man's Mirror
Hercule Poirot receives a telegram from baronet Gervase Cheveny-Gore asking for help in a delicate matter. Poirot arrives before dinner, for which quite a few guests have already gathered. And then a gong sounds, and after some time a shot. It's time for Poirot to get down to business again. The story is a slightly expanded version of the story "The Second Strike of the Gong", first published in July 1932 in issue 499 of the Strand Magazine.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
