The Nag Hammadi Library is a collection of handwritten books (codes) made from papyrus, which was discovered at the end of 1945 in Egypt, near the village of Nag Hammadi. It is the largest known library of Gnostic texts. In addition to translations of Coptic manuscripts from Nag Hammadi, the file contains texts from the Chakos Codex and the Berlin Codex.



The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.

Важливий внесок у вивчення гностицизму!

Книга "Спадщина гностицизму. Том 1" є справжнім відкриттям для всіх, хто цікавиться історією релігій і філософії. Бібліотека Наг-Хаммаді, зібрана з рукописних книг, відкриває нові горизонти в розумінні гностичних текстів, які до цього часу залишалися малодослідженими. Якість перекладу, незважаючи на деякі недоліки, вражає, і це дозволяє читачеві зануритися в глибину думок та ідей, що містяться в цих стародавніх текстах. Автори книги вдало поєднали науковий підхід з доступністю, що робить її цікавою як для професіоналів, так і для широкої аудиторії. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто прагне зрозуміти не лише гностицизм, а й загальні питання релігійної філософії. Це важливий крок у відновленні знань про духовні традиції, які вплинули на розвиток західної думки.
