In this book, in fact, there is no criticism of Protestantism. There is simply a defense and explanation of Orthodoxy.

By “Protestants” in this book we do not mean the heirs of the Reformation, not German Lutherans, not Calvinists and not Anglicans. We are talking about those much later (and, accordingly, very recent) neo-Protestant formations, which, as a rule, arose in America and from there have now spread to Russia. Accordingly, the word “Protestant” in this book means exactly those people who are most often encountered under this name by residents of modern Russia: these are Baptists, Adventists, Pentecostals, various charismatic (“neo-Pentecostal”) groups, the “Church of Christ,” as well as various “simply Christians" (in fact, they are Baptists and charismatics who hide their confessional affiliation in order to make it easier to attract people who sympathize with Orthodoxy).

Глибоке і важливе дослідження

Книга "Протестантам про Православ'я" є надзвичайно важливим внеском у діалог між різними християнськими конфесіями. Автор не намагається критикувати протестантизм, а радше пропонує глибокий аналіз і пояснення основ православної віри. Цей підхід дозволяє читачеві зрозуміти, чому Православ'я має свої унікальні традиції та погляди на Бога, спасіння та життя в цілому. Особливо цікавою є частина, де розглядаються сучасні неопротестанські рухи, що виникли в Америці, і їх вплив на віруючих у Росії. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до некоректних фраз, загальний зміст книги залишається зрозумілим і доступним.
