M.A. Drobov. — “Small war (partisanship and sabotage)” This work provides detailed coverage and a thorough analysis of the forms and methods of small war — partisanship and sabotage. In developing this problem, which was still completely unexplored, the author used a wealth of scattered material (over 370 titles - Russian and foreign). The book is of great interest not only for the commanding staff of the Red Army, but also for every trained civilian reader.

The relevance of Drobov’s monograph is determined by three problems of guerrilla-insurgent wars, namely: WHAT the state should not do in order not to create conditions for the emergence of “hot spots”.
