"Great Soviet Encyclopedia" is a large universal encyclopedia consisting of 65 volumes and more than 100,000 articles. Published in 1926-1947 and 1969-1978. It entered the cultural and historical heritage of the Soviet Union, as the most significant guide for a wide range of readers. The content of the encyclopedia covers political, economic, cultural and other aspects of the life of the Soviet socialist society and the Great Patriotic War. The "Great Soviet Encyclopedia" has become an integral part of the Ukrainian, Soviet and world cultural heritage, preserving unique knowledge and information for posterity.
