№3, 2006 “FRIENDSHIP OF PEOPLES” publishes new works by writers and poets of Russia, near and far abroad countries. Last year was the Year of Azerbaijan in Russia, this year is the Year of Russia in Azerbaijan. In line with efforts aimed at reviving and strengthening mutual cultural ties between our countries and peoples, there is also the release of a special issue of the magazine “Friendship of Peoples”, designed to introduce the Russian-speaking reader to the latest literature of Azerbaijan, to fill the information gap that has arisen over the past ten to fifteen years.
