Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги та загадки, де кожен персонаж може виявитися як жертвою, так і злочинцем. Історія Нори Сінклер, її чарівність та таємнича природа, справді захоплюють. Ланцюг загадкових загибелей молодих чоловіків, які опинилися під її чарами, тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Агент Джон О'Харе - це персонаж, з яким легко співпереживати, адже він намагається розгадати цю заплутану справу, ризикуючи всім, що має.
