Early 20th century. Arthur is a young man who is into photography, but hides this hobby from his friends. One day he sees a sad woman on the street, whose image remains in his memory. Having met her again, he asks her to pose for him for photographs, despite the fact that she is not young, not slim and does not look like the other models. Rita – that’s the stranger’s name – is not going through the best period in her life. She had to divorce her husband, which resulted in complete isolation and rejection from society. She blames her ugly appearance and weak character for everything, and therefore Arthur’s request seems very unusual to her. Arthur and Rita will have to complete a series of seven portraits in just over one year. During this time, they will understand and rethink a lot in their lives. At the end of this extraordinary journey, they will become completely different people and will find what they were missing.

Чарівна історія про самопізнання та прийняття себе

Книга "Сім портретів" вражає своєю глибиною та емоційністю. Автор майстерно описує шлях двох персонажів – Артура та Ріти, які, здавалося б, не мають нічого спільного, але виявляються пов'язаними через мистецтво фотографії. Артур, молодий фотограф, який приховує своє захоплення, та Ріта, жінка, що пережила важкі часи, стають не лише моделлю та фотографом, а й одне для одного – джерелом підтримки та розуміння. Кожен з семи портретів, які вони створюють, стає символом їхнього зростання, змін та відкриттів. Ця книга спонукає читача замислитися над власними переживаннями, над тим, як важливо приймати себе та інших, незважаючи на зовнішні обставини.
