The collection includes works by four American writers: a third of the volume is occupied by the works of Roger Zelazny (half of all works), also about a third of the volume is devoted to the works of Philip K. Dick (every fifth story or novella), and the remaining third is almost equally divided between Edward Smith and Isaac Asimov - three works each. More than half of the works were written in the 60s of the twentieth century, about a quarter - in the 50s, the 30s and 40s are less represented - two works each. The collection contains works of both strict SF-oriented, as well as examples of soft and fantasy fiction. Despite the name, robots are found in about a third of the plots, and the main roles are played even less often. Recommended for a wide range of readers.

Чудова збірка для шанувальників наукової фантастики!

"Помста роботів" - це справжнє свято для любителів жанру, адже у цій книзі зібрані твори таких легендарних авторів, як Роджер Желязни, Філіп Дік, Едвард Сміт та Айзек Азимов. Кожен з них приносить свій унікальний стиль і погляд на світ, що робить цю збірку різноманітною та цікавою. Твори, написані у 60-ті роки, відображають дух часу та ставлення до технологій, що робить їх актуальними і сьогодні. Особливо вражають розповіді Желязни та Діка, які змушують задуматися про етику технологій і людську природу. Хоча назва може ввести в оману, адже роботи роботів не є центральною темою, але це не зменшує цінності цих творів. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто хоче зануритися у світ фантастики та насолодитися класичними творами, які залишили слід в історії літератури.
