Chroma is a reflection on the diversity of color by the famous British director and artist Derek Jarman (1942-1994). In this book, written in 1993, a year before his death, Jarman, losing his sight, uses all the resources of writing in an attempt to convey the complexity and an elusive aspect of a subject about which he has accumulated a lifetime of experience. Неперевершене дослідження кольору та його значення в житті!

Книга "Хром" – це справжня подорож у світ кольору, яку майстерно створив Дерек Джармен. Його ліричний стиль та здатність поєднувати класичну теорію з особистими спогадами роблять цю книгу унікальною. Джармен не лише розглядає кольори з точки зору мистецтва, але й занурює читача в їх емоційний вимір, змушуючи задуматися про те, як колір впливає на наше життя, спогади та відчуття. Кожен розділ – це маленька історія, що відкриває нові горизонти розуміння кольору, його значення в різних сферах, від науки до філософії. Я отримав величезне задоволення від читання цієї книги, і вона, безумовно, залишила слід у моїй свідомості. Рекомендую "Хром" усім, хто цікавиться мистецтвом, психологією та філософією кольору!
