When does the history of the car begin? A hundred years ago? No, much earlier... The word "car" is based on the Greek "auto", meaning "oneself", and the Latin "mobile", meaning "mobile". Thus, the meaning of this word is “self-propelled.” It is no coincidence that the first cars in Russia were called self-propelled strollers. But if self-propelled strollers really appeared only in the last century, then the history of just strollers goes back to time immemorial. This means that the history of the car, in that part that does not concern the engine, begins in prehistoric times, when our distant ancestors made one of the first great inventions in the history of mankind - the wheel.
