Book Gerard Philip. One moment... and life after it
The book “One Moment” was written by Anne Philip, the widow of the famous actor, icon of post-war French cinema, Gerard Philip. His life was cut short at the age of thirty-seven at the very zenith of his fame. Fate destined them for a short, but very bright and happy life together. Anne Philip survived her husband by thirty years, remaining faithful to their all-consuming love to the end. “One Moment” is an endless monologue of a woman addressed to her deceased husband, to the one whom she loved endlessly during his life and continued to love after his death. This story is deeply confessional. It intertwines two stories, two different views - the wife and daughter of the great actor.
