Вражаюче дослідження, яке відкриває нові горизонти в розумінні історії!

Книга «Чортополох і терен» стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор майстерно поєднує соціальну та політичну історію Європи з історією живопису, що дозволяє читачеві поглянути на минуле під новим кутом. Я була вражена тим, як через призму мистецтва можна зрозуміти складні процеси, що відбувалися в суспільстві. Кожен розділ наповнений глибоким аналізом, що спонукає до роздумів про вибір між республікою та імперією, вірою та ідеологією. Друга частина книги, присвячена відродженню живопису, є справжнім шедевром, який детально розкриває еволюцію мистецтва від маньєризму до сучасності.
