Book About human nature
Edward Wilson is the founder of sociobiology. In his Pulitzer Prize-winning book, he shows how a wide variety of human social behavior can be explained using biological laws, as opposed to the social sciences and humanities' references to education, norms, values, and other components of human culture. This book is a challenge to a worldview that absolutizes the role of culture in our society. From Wilson's point of view, no matter how diverse the manifestations of human culture, they are all possible only thanks to certain genetic predispositions of a person. The book “On Human Nature” is addressed to both specialists in the field of social sciences and the widest audience.
