The article is devoted to one of the little-studied pages in the history of forced labor camps in the USSR, relating to the end of the existence of the Solovetsky special purpose camp and the beginning of the formation of the Gulag system. In the summer of 2015 and 2016, on the White Sea, International Memorial (memo.ru) conducted two expeditions dedicated to searching, recording and studying the remaining traces of the forest units of the Solovetsky camp - “business trips”. The results of the expeditions are presented in the article.
