Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям! Гаррі Гаррісон майстерно створює світ, який, з одного боку, відображає нашу історію, а з іншого - пропонує абсолютно новий погляд на події. Ідея альтернативної історії, де іспанці програли війну, а Колумб не відкрив Америку, відкриває безліч можливостей для розвитку сюжету. Читачі можуть насолоджуватися незвичайними технологіями, такими як літаки на вугіллі та атомні локомотиви, які додають особливого колориту.
