The Galactic Empire was approaching collapse. Psychohistorian Hari Seldon foresaw this and created two Foundations in advance - two special scientific centers, gathering in them the best, youngest and strongest people so that these centers would grow, develop and strengthen. Seldon chose the worlds where they are located taking into account the time and environment. In the future, according to precise mathematical calculations, both Foundations will be isolated from galactic civilization and will develop into the beginnings of the Second Galactic Empire. The Imperial General Bel Rioz, having learned about this, decides to seize the First Foundation.
