Norby, an extraordinary robot, a friend of Jeff Wells, a cadet at the Space Academy, has lost faith in himself. Their ship, the Promising, arrived on the planet Melody to find traces of the missing princess from the planet Izz, and the entire crew was caught and captured by the nasty slithers.
