A former entrepreneur, who bankrupted a company with large debts, is forced to restore his medical diploma and work as a doctor, so as not to exist in a completely marginal way. In addition to the sharp drop in living standards, he feels discomfort because he looks alien among his new colleagues. He has many valuable qualities: a resourceful mind, adventurism, bribery skills, a willingness to risk health and money, the ability to organize people... but these qualities, necessary in business, are less suitable for medical practice. He does not fit into the new conditions, gradually loses touch with reality, which creates problems not only for him, but also for those around him...
