I called the decade described (1970 - 1979) “American Time”, because I consider the joint Soviet-American space flight to be the most important event in manned astronautics during this period. Its preparation, implementation and subsequent influence were felt both in this decade and in subsequent years. One could designate this decade as the “Time of Salyuts,” since it was during this period that all Salyut-type stations were launched into space. I was lucky to be a participant in the training of almost all cosmonauts who were in space during this period. But I want to talk not only about this preparation. We are all humans. And everyone was preoccupied at the same time both with events in their personal lives and with what was happening around us. In life, everything is connected and mutually influences each other. And I also wanted to talk about this.

Вражаюча подорож у часі!
