Evgeniy Andreevich Permyak, real name Vissov (1902–1982), is a Russian writer, author of essays, short stories, fairy tales, plays, novellas. The writer chose his creative pseudonym in honor of his hometown of Perm. Even in his youth, he mastered the professions of carpenter, mechanic, shoemaker, turner and blacksmith. Therefore, most of the stories and fairy tales are dedicated to work: “How Masha became big”, “The Golden Nail”, “The Hasty Knife”, “Runaway Raspberries”, “Who Grinds Flour”, “The Secret of the Price” and others. In the fairy tales of Evgeny Permyak, the most ordinary things that surround us come to life, and animals are endowed with human qualities: “Filya”, “The Tricky Rug”, “About the Hasty Marten and the Patient Titmouse”, “The Hedgehog is a Forsikha”. In his stories, the author teaches young readers how to value friendship, work, human relationships, and life. The collection includes stories and fairy tales by the writer written for children.
