Such a book has never existed before. Disputes about it divided readers into two irreconcilable camps. To some, this collection of short stories about clergy and their flock seems too ironic and poisonous, others are convinced that the book was written with great warmth and love. How in reality is for the reader to judge, we will only add that in four years the “Modern Patericon” has endured five editions and sold into proverbs.

Книга, яка викликає суперечки та глибокі роздуми

«Сучасний патерик» Майї Кучерської – це справжній літературний феномен, який не залишає байдужим жодного читача. Авторка майстерно поєднала іронію та глибокі істини, створивши збірку коротких розповідей, які розкривають складні стосунки між священнослужителями та їхньою паствою. Кожна історія пронизана емоціями, і читач може відчути як радість, так і біль героїв. Деякі можуть вважати, що книга надто іронічна, але я вважаю, що саме ця іронія робить її такою живою та актуальною. Вона спонукає до роздумів про сучасність, віру та людські стосунки. «Сучасний патерик» – це не просто книга, а справжній діалог між поколіннями, який варто прочитати кожному, хто цікавиться духовністю та сучасними викликами. Рекомендую всім, хто готовий до глибоких роздумів та емоційних переживань!
