How does the Orthodox Church differ from other communities that call themselves “churches”? This brochure briefly and simply outlines the main differences between Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism, Protestantism and the communities of that doctrinal tradition, which the Holy Fathers called Monophysitism. It also talks about the very process of divisions that occurred among people who call themselves Christians. "In matters of faith, only one strict Orthodoxy is possible, here there can only be truth or error... All Christian confessions cannot belong to the one Universal Church of Christ, but one of them is the true Church, and all the others are extra-church communities... the only true Church is the Orthodox Church... to recognize the possibility of salvation apart from the Church... this means to recognize the optionality of the Church." St. Hilarion of the Trinity "The Holy Orthodox Church is a treasury of the blessings of salvation. Whatever you need for salvation, you will find everything in it, and only in it. Apart from it, the Lord Himself does not give these blessings. So He himself deigned to arrange it. Having become the Head of the Church, He acts for our salvation in no other way than through this body. And do not seek any other access to His treasures of salvation."
