Within the framework of this study, the main directions of state support for small and medium-sized businesses were identified, a number of measures were proposed to improve the legal conditions for the implementation of state support for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as draft regulations on amendments and additions to the current legislation, regulating the conditions of state support for small and medium-sized businesses. Conclusions and proposals can be used in the law enforcement practice of government authorities and in the activities of business entities.
