Having accidentally met a pretty woman on the street, Nero Wolfe's assistant Archie Goodwin becomes embroiled in intrigue around the Gallente modeling agency and the murder of one of its executives. The primary version of the story (short story) Murder Is No Joke (Murder Is No Joke) was published in February 1958. In the summer of the same year, a revised (expanded) version of this story (short story) Frame-Up for Murder was published.
