With this story I would like to remind everyone that veterans - Heroes of the Second World War, live among us, and even though in the old days they were stronger than nails, but today they are of advanced age, and they may need our help. And it’s sad that veterans are remembered only on one day a year - May 9, when the media has an “information occasion”. I note that there, during the War, in 1941-1945, front-line soldiers fought not just one day a year, but every day, every hour, every second. We fought so that you and I could live in a world free from fascism. And if even one person, even for one second, thinks about the fact that there lives a veteran nearby who... even if it’s to help him carry a bag from the store, or a very simple example - to carry him across the road, I will consider that the story has completed its task. And if he not only thinks about it, but does it, even more so!
