The Land of the Happy" is an interesting book. This is the perspective of the USSR that the author sees, hears and is confident in. Without a firm belief in the development of our country, the growth of its socialist construction and culture, such a book cannot be written.

It was written in a period when every feature of socialism and every step is being taken away by stubborn battle from traditions, from people saturated with the habits of the old , from inertia and ignorance, from that bourgeois environment that is squeezing our great, unprecedented construction on all sides with an intoxicating ring.

The author depicts the life of the future and gives types of new people, with new mental training, with a new psychology, living in a new range of social relations, created on the basis of the greatest growth of the instruments of production and, in particular, the almost final triumph of electrification as the main lever of industrial culture in the “Land of the Happy.”
