Lucius Annaeus Seneca (c. 55 BC - 40 AD) - Ancient Roman Stoic philosopher who studied oratory in Rome, author of speeches and tragedies, philosophical treatises and letters. Philosophical dialogues Seneca is an instruction in stoicism, the teaching of how to live with dignity and meaning for a person who has nothing to believe in and no one to hope for; it is a preaching of perseverance in the face of the blows of fate and a kind of spiritual therapy for all of us.
