"Пекельні пристрої" - це вражаюче продовження серії, яке захоплює з перших сторінок. Автор знову вражає своєю майстерністю у створенні яскравих персонажів і динамічного сюжету. У книзі ми повертаємося до Анкориджа, де, здавалося б, панує спокій, але на горизонті вже нависла загроза. Пригоди Рени, Тома та Хестер вражають своєю напруженістю та емоційністю. Яскраві описи підводних битв і небезпечних ситуацій тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки.
