Вражаюча комбінація детективу та соціальної драми!

Книга "Перша жертва" вражає своєю глибиною і складністю сюжетних ліній. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи жорстокого реалізму з емоційною складовою, що робить історію не лише захоплюючою, але й дуже актуальною. Головний герой, Болдт, викликає симпатію своєю боротьбою за виживання в умовах фінансового тиску, а його любов до джазу додає особливого шарму. Паралельно з цим, розслідування жорстоких вбивств нелегальних іммігранток піднімає важливі соціальні питання, які, на жаль, залишаються актуальними й сьогодні. Персонажі, такі як амбітний журналіст Стіві МакНіл, додають динаміки та інтриги, а їхні ризиковані дії заради справедливості роблять сюжет ще більш напруженим. Книга не тільки тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки, але й змушує задуматися про моральні аспекти нашого суспільства. Рекомендую всім, хто любить якісну прозу з глибоким змістом!
