Другий том серії про Чіафаса Кейна знову вражає своєю динамічністю та захоплюючим сюжетом. Увлекательное продолжение приключений Каина!

Книга "Защитник Империума" — это настоящий подарок для поклонников вселенной Warhammer 40,000 и, в частности, для тех, кто следит за приключениями комиссара Кайафаса Каина. Во втором омнибусе автор, Сэнди Митчелл, продолжает развивать характер главного героя, который, несмотря на свою храбрость и статус, остаётся весьма человечным и уязвимым. Читая, я не мог не улыбаться, наблюдая за тем, как Каин пытается избежать опасностей, используя не только силу, но и дипломатию. Сюжет полон неожиданных поворотов, захватывающих сражений с орками и тиранидами, а также интриг, связанных с силами Хаоса. Митчелл удаётся создать атмосферу, в которой смешиваются юмор и серьёзность, что делает чтение особенно увлекательным.
