The name of Alexander Alexandrovich Vishnevsky occupies one of the places of honor in the history of medicine. Many of his ideas were innovative, and surgical interventions were the first in the country and in the world. He became one of the founders of cardiovascular surgery in the USSR, contributed to the creation and development of many areas of surgery and related specialties, developed the problems of anesthesia in surgery of the heart, lungs and mediastinum, and nerve trophism in surgery.

During During the Great Patriotic War, Alexander Alexandrovich Vishnevsky was the chief surgeon of the Volkhov and Karelian fronts. He was called the "healer of soldiers' wounds." This book is a literary adaptation of his personal diary, which he regularly kept during 1941-1945.

Неперевершене свідчення епохи та мужності

Книга "Щоденник хірурга" є не лише важливим історичним документом, а й глибоким проникненням у душу людини, яка рятувала життя в умовах війни. Олександр Олександрович Вишневський, безсумнівно, став символом медичної відваги та інновацій, і його щоденник відкриває перед читачем не лише медичні досягнення, а й емоційні переживання, з якими він стикався на фронті. Читання цього щоденника дозволяє відчути атмосферу тих часів, зрозуміти труднощі, з якими стикалися лікарі, та їхню відданість справі. Книга написана зрозумілою мовою, а її зміст вражає глибиною думок і професіоналізмом автора. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість тексту залишається високою. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією медицини, військовою історією або просто хоче дізнатися більше про героїзм і самовідданість лікарів під час війни.
