Читач має можливість зануритися в атмосферу стародавнього Кріту, відчути велич палацу царя Миноса в Кноссі та дізнатися про загадкове поселення Акротирі на Санторіні. Книга не лише інформативна, але й надзвичайно цікава, адже вона спонукає до роздумів про розвиток людства, його вірування та соціальну структуру.
