Book Simpleton
Molodyk, who had lived all the time among the Hurons in America, goes ashore in Lower Brittany, where a priest and his sister recognize him as their nephew. Because he always naively says what he thinks and does what he wants, like a "true savage", he is called Simpleton. Trusting his natural wisdom, untainted by existing prejudices, he undergoes many unpleasant adventures, during which he will express a whole series of judgments full of great prudence in his naive astonishment.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
