The first part of the review of Zecharia Sitchin's book "The Lost Book of Enki" about the most ancient "civilization of the gods". Consideration of Sitchin's texts is accompanied by comments by Boris Romanov. He proves that, contrary to the popular opinion about Zecharia Sitchin as a pseudoscientist and "fantasy writer", the main part of his research is well substantiated precisely by the work of professional orientalists. The book uses two chapters from B. Romanov's books "The Sumerians and Anunnaki: Anthropogenesis" and "The Sumerians and Anunnaki from the Planet Nibiru".
