Book of Олдоса Хаксли "Return in the marvellous new world" was first published in distant 1958 to the year - and the she is more interesting read in our days : in fact in this work the great English writer and philosopher, in the polemic manner, conducted parallels between western civilization of bourgeois "golden age" 1950th and by the antiutopian totalitarian "consumer paradise" described in his known artistic work - novel "Oh marvellous new world". Over and over Хаксли compared invented to them centuries ago the world of the distant future with the world very real, surrounding him in the moment of writing of "Return", - and over and over found the signs of intimidating, dangerous and more obvious likeness. Where was right he, and in what did wrong? What from his predictions did not come true, and what, alas, came true with sad exactness? Answers for these questions, strangely enough, far not so obvious.

Вражаюче повернення до класики

"Повернення в чудовий новий світ" Олдоса Хаксли - це не просто книга, а справжня філософська подорож, яка змушує задуматися про природу суспільства, технологій і людської природи. Читаючи цю роботу, я був вражений тим, як автор вдало проводить паралелі між реальністю 1950-х років і антиутопічним світом, який він описав у своєму знаменитому романі. Хаксли ставить важливі питання про споживчий рай, тоталітаризм і те, як сучасні технології можуть впливати на наше життя. Його пророцтва, написані багато років тому, здаються ще більш актуальними сьогодні, і це викликає тривогу.
