The fourth volume includes four paragraphs from "Church Dogmatics" by Karl Barth, united by the common theme of the revelation of the triune God. According to Scripture, God is the incarnate Word of God (§8) and at the same time the One, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (§9). First of all, the God of revelation is the Creator, the Lord of our here-being, and thus our Father (§10). The one God is revealed to us as a mediator in a human environment hostile to the Lord, as the eternal Word of God, embodied for us in the Son (§11). Finally, the one God is revealed in Scripture as a redeemer who makes us free, and as such reveals to us the Holy Spirit in whom we become children of God (§12).
