The manual contains about 4000 named mathematical examples on topics studied in the first quarter of grade 5. The original construction of the material allows for a deeper assimilation.As practice shows, the student has fully mastered the program if he solves an example and writes down the answer after 4-7 seconds. When there are many conversions to smaller units in a column (for example, to get a more accurate answer, hours and minutes must be converted to seconds), the solution time for one example increases to 10-12 seconds. In this case, we can say that the counting skill has been brought to automatism.On each page there are 3-4 columns with an average of 50 examples. If the student solves the column in 4-6 minutes, this indicates a good level of preparation. It should take no more than 30 minutes for a whole page. To achieve excellent results, one page should be solved every day.The manual can be used in mathematics lessons, as well as for independent work at home.
