A significant part of modern mass culture works according to the scheme, which in professional circles is called "Mill-3": poor people sell their fantasies about the lives of the rich, the very rich and the fabulously rich to the very poor. Sometimes this scheme is diversified by some bright detail: a poor person shows his house on Rublyovka to the yellow press or gives out some randomly peeped sign of oligarchic life (like the sacramental phrase “how prettier the capital of Chukotka has become,” which the oligarchs say upon arrival in London ). This quite natural and even in its own way beautiful mechanism has, however, one dangerous feature - often the rich themselves seek to find out how they live, studying the thoughts on this subject of people, if not completely poor, then quite close to this state. Only this can explain the Babylonian architecture of the Rublev mansions and the terrifying number of Maybachs standing in Moscow traffic jams. So is there really a reliable and scientifically valid way to look into the world of the super-rich? To this question we give a confident affirmative answer. But the story will have to start from afar, returning to the nineties of the last century. It was then that Chingiz Karataev, an energetic figure in the era of primitive accumulation (in addition to business, who was fond of the space epics of the Strugatsky brothers), came up with an unexpected idea - that the saying “money sticks to money” that exists in almost all languages has the most literal meaning.CopyrightProducer of the publication: Vladimir Vorobyov© V.
