Відкриття нових граней середньовічної жінки

Книга "Середньовіччя у спідниці" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у розумінні ролі жінок в епоху Середньовіччя. Автор вдало поєднує історичні факти з культурними стереотипами, що дозволяє читачеві поглянути на жінок тієї епохи з нової перспективи. Від благородних принцес до селянок, книга демонструє, що жінки не були лише пасивними персонажами у лицарських романах, а мали свої власні історії, мрії та боротьбу. Особливо вразило те, як автор ставить під сумнів традиційні уявлення про "правильну" жінку, пропонуючи читачеві розглянути цю тему з різних боків.
