There is one giant in the world who does not like to share anything with anyone; one day he freezes everything around with his breath, and eternal winter sets in, from the consequences of which dwarves, elves, and people suffer. All the strength of the giant, and his only passion is in diamonds... The text is deliberately archaic in order to give the description a touch of some antiquity. Also, in some places the text is intonational, and if you read carefully, you may get the impression that some sentences in their construction are more verse than prose.
