Дослідження англійської мови, яке варто прочитати!

Книга Білла Брайсона "Рідна мова: англійська і як вона виникла" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор зумів з'єднати дотепність і глибокі знання про англійську мову, створивши захоплюючу історію, яка не лише інформує, а й розважає. Брайсон майстерно розкриває еволюцію мови, її ексцентричність та культурні впливи, які формували її на протязі століть. Його стиль написання легкий і зрозумілий, що робить читання приємним і невимушеним. Я дізнався багато нового про походження слів, їхнє значення та навіть про те, як мова впливає на наше сприйняття світу. Єдине, що трохи зіпсувало враження — це переклад, який іноді не зовсім коректний, але це не заважає насолоджуватися змістом книги. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться мовою, культурою та історією!
