Гаррі Бош, як завжди, залишається незламним героєм, готовим ризикувати всім заради справедливості та захисту своєї родини. Сюжет книги майстерно переплітає розслідування вбивства з особистими переживаннями Боша, що робить його ще більш захоплюючим. Якість перекладу, незважаючи на деякі недоліки, не заважає насолоджуватися історією, а навпаки, додає їй особливого шарму.
