Arthur Schopenhauer (1788–1860) is an outstanding German irrationalist philosopher.

The works submitted to the competition at the Royal Norwegian Academy of Sciences are devoted to two main problems of ethics: free will and the foundations of morality.

Глибоке дослідження свободи волі та моралі

Книга Артура Шопенгауера "Про свободу волі. Про основу моралі" є справжнім філософським шедевром, який змушує читача задуматися про складні питання етики та людської природи. Шопенгауер, як видатний філософ-ірраціоналіст, пропонує унікальний погляд на свободу волі, стверджуючи, що людина одночасно є вільною і невільною. Його аргументація про те, що воля є сутністю людини, відкриває нові горизонти для розуміння моральних дилем. Книга спонукає до глибоких роздумів про те, як моральні норми можуть обмежувати нашу свободу, і чому саме вони стають причинами нашого добровільного закабалення.
