Having closed the case of a rich, prosperous businessman, private detective Tatyana Ivanova finds out that he was hospitalized with a heart attack after receiving a letter containing only three words: “You will soon die...” Having entered his apartment, Tatyana does not find this anonymous message, and upon returning home, he picks up the ringing phone and hears the same three words.
