Apparently, nothing in the world can scare the criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl. Although, in the world of fairy folk there is something that has annoyed him more than once, and this is Opal Koboi. The evil pixie is again wreaking havoc. This time, the main enemy of Artemis revives the dead warriors of the fairy people, buried in the lands of the Fowl castle. Their spirits took over the bodies of Artemis's younger brothers, making the boys even more annoying than usual. The warriors don't seem to understand that the battle they fought and died in is long over. Artemis has until dawn to force the spirits to release the bodies of his little brothers and return to where they came from, in the earth.
