Вражаюча епопея про боротьбу та надію

Ця книга Денніса Ліхейна стала для мене справжнім відкриттям! Вона переносить читача в Бостон наприкінці Першої світової війни, коли країна переживає складні часи соціальних та політичних змін. Автор майстерно малює образи двох сімей, які представляють різні раси та соціальні прошарки, що робить історію ще більш інтригуючою та багатогранною. Я був вражений глибиною персонажів, їх переживаннями та боротьбою за виживання в умовах хаосу. Ліхейн вміло поєднує історичні факти з вигаданими подіями, створюючи захоплюючий сюжет, який тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад тексту може містити деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією, яка змушує задуматися про важливі питання сучасності.
