Вражаюча історія про довіру та зраду у світі скакових коней!

Книга "Високі ставки" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Стівен Скотт, головний герой, втілює у собі всі емоції, які переживає людина, коли її довіра стає причиною великого обману. Автор майстерно описує не лише саму суть скакового бізнесу, але й глибокі психологічні аспекти відносин між людьми. Я був вражений тим, як Стівен, виявивши зраду, не впав у відчай, а навпаки, зібрав усі свої сили, щоб повернути те, що в нього вкрали. Його хитромудрий план та рішучість створюють напружену атмосферу, яка тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад не завжди досконалий, це не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом.
