Book Battles at Lake Balaton. January–March 1945
We present to your attention an illustrated publication dedicated to the reflection of the last major German tank offensive in Hungary in January-March 1945. This publication examines the actions of ground forces, mainly tank formations and anti-tank artillery. When describing the course of the battles, the authors used mainly domestic documents from the war years: reports on the combat operations of various formations; reports of losses and protocols of the work of commissions that studied damaged German equipment in February - April 1945. The album is addressed, first of all, to the many admirers of the “invincible” Panzerwaffe.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
